- How do you handle your payments?
For most projects, I require a 50% non-refundable down payment before I begin any work, with the final 50% to be paid upon completion. I may use my own discretion when determining payment terms.
- How do you accept payments?
I accept payments via PayPal, credit card or check. If you choose to pay using your PayPal account or credit card, an additional fee will be charged in order to cover PayPal's merchant fees. This fee will be shown in the invoice.
- What does your usual process entail?
Once we have discussed the project and your first payment has been made, I will come up with a basic layout design for you to look over and/or request revisions. When we have agreed on the layout, I will begin coding your site. From there, final revisions will be made. When the site has been completed, I will send you a final invoice. Once the remaining balance has been paid, I will send you all necessary files.
- How long does it take to complete a project?
This one varies greatly depending on my current workload, the scope of your project, how quickly you respond to e-mails, and whether or not you provide me with the necessary assets in a timely manner. If you have a deadline that you need to meet, however, please make that known in your initial e-mail, and I will do my best to make that happen.
- Can you build us a custom CMS?
No, I currently do not offer any custom CMS services.
- Can you build us an entire website in Big Cartel?
Yes, I can! Thanks to Big Cartel's custom pages and completely customizable storefront, it is absolutely possible to run your entire website on Big Cartel. You can see an example of this in the website I built for Urban Sunday.
- What e-commerce platforms do you have experience with?
I have experience working in Big Cartel, Storenvy, and Shopify, but I am able to work with most e-commerce platforms currently available.
